Most people are familiar with the terms of vibrating screen, high frequency mineral screen, high frequency ore screen, but does not know much about the rotary screen, now, let us learn this equipment simplely.
Rotary screen is a kind of rotary sieve that composed of rotary cylinder , it can be used to carried out the continuous screening. The features of this sieve is working smoothly, the disadvantage is that the working area is only 1/6 to 1/8 of the entire screen surface, the screening efficiency is low, so it is mainly used for sieving the coarse particles whose size is a few millimeters above.
Installation and maintenance methods of rotary screen
Before the first installing, we should check the on-site infrastructure according to the sieve installation diagram ,the embedded steel flatness error should be less than 3mm. The installation should be carried out according to the bottom up order , after ensuring that every aspect is adjusted to the initial eligibility status, can we start the next installation part. Secondly, after the rotary screen is installed, adjusting the relative position, all springs should showed a vertical state, the motor axis should be lower 3-5mm than the exciter axis , then welded firmly the motor bracket, spring base with embedded steel spot . It is required that two motors steering must be the opposite, exciter eccentric block are in the same phase. no-load operates 4-6 hours, we require that the sieve body running smoothly ,no swing and abnormal noise, besides, the sieve board and exciter fastening condition are all needed to check.
