Performance characteristics of wet rod mill
The rotate speed of wet rod mill is lower , the general speed rate is 60% -70%; media fill rate is also lower, about 35% -40%, feed size is usually 25-30mm, if the steel bars is too large, the steel bar will skew, when operating, the steel rod will bent and broken ; at the same time, Excessive ore blocks will create large gap between bars, so it is difficult to grind to a fine-grained, the productivity will decline . Ores are crushed and ground by the steel bars whereabouts "line contact" , before the chunk not broken ,the fine particles are rarely received stamped; therefore, the pulverized phenomena are less , the products particle sizes are relatively uniform, typically 1-3mm . the wet rod grinding mill is suitable for fine, coarse grinding ores in the first open paragraph , and is particularly suitable for processing brittle materials. The length of rod is generally shorter 25-50mm than the barrel length.
