The flotation machine is essential flotation equipment in the modern beneficiation process, which is used to select copper, manganese, silver, gold and antimony ore by flotation. We have the SF series flotation cell and XJK series flotation machine for different ore productions.
Flotation machine is used to sort gold and silver ore
The flotation machine is the most effective metal equipment to sort gold and silver ore.
After grinded, the gold ore and silver ore will be added to water as well as necessary medicament, and infused into a stirring pulp tank. Then importing air to the slurry to form a large number of bubbles, some that not easy to be wetted by water, commonly referred to as the hydrophobic mineral particles will attach to bubbles and float to the slurry surface, forming mineralized bubbles layer; others that easily wetted by water, generally referred to as hydrophilic mineral particles will remain in the pulp and discharge mineralized bubbles which contain specific minerals so as to achieve the purpose of beneficiation.
Ore flotation cell features
1. It is with stock inlet and gate device, which is used to adjust the slurry scope and mainly composed by a steel plate tank and plate and round bar gate.
2. Air charging system: It is composed by catheter and intake pipe. When the impeller rotates, the impeller chamber will produce negative pressure, which could inhale air through the hollow pump line, and diffuse in the slurry to form bubbles, then the slurry is quickly thrown to the stator by rotational force of impeller to further refine the bubbles in the slurry and eliminate the rotational motion of pulp flow in flotation cell, which resulting in a large number of micro-bubble vertically rise and provide the necessary conditions for flotation process.
3. Agitating device: it is used to stir the slurry, prevent the ore precipitating in the tank; it is mainly composed by the pulley, impeller and vertical axis; and the impeller is made of resistant rubber.
